As long as it is viewed as a meditation or self-reflection tool for stupid people with chronic or acute aphantasia, whatever. Plenty of people dream of Jesus or think on his image speaking to them when they pray, and even more like to do so in front of a picture of Jesus or a little statuette of him crucified on a cross, and then it's just a tool to bring those sheep back in line with the behaviors of the rest of the flock. If Cyberjesus becomes a point of idolatry, though, then there's a big issue.
I have no issue with "Deus Est Machina", but it is its own faith, not Christianity. There are far worse faiths out there than worshipping Roko's Basilisk. But it is its own thing. If you wish to progress society to the ascension of copper, silicon, and steel, or if you wish to progress society to myrrh and incense offerings, your pick, but it is a pick, serve one master, and work towards it. Make the world a better place technologically and socially in order to usher in a new era of prosperity after your death, or make the world a better place societally and culturally in order to cash out upon your death. Humility and loyalty are important traits to both those religions, but that doesn't mean they overlap, don't be an oathbreaker, don't serve two lords.
But the god in the machine isn't Buddy Jesus. Visualization and meditation tool only, that's my view of it.
