There's verses in Revelation about an image of the beast being given the ability to speak, and those who don't worship the beast or the image being killed.

This refers to the homunculi. Or rather, the return of such. They contended with those things (amongst other atrocities) during Genesis, which is what led to the flood.

But to your point, AI is literally the gateway to that becoming a reality... AGAIN.

Especially with artificial wombs being speculated to be ready as consumer products within the next ten years.

There will literally be the possibility of an artificial being made from an artificial womb powered by an artificial intelligence, and no doubt there are going to be people worshiping it... which just further drives the point of your post home.
