He got paid to meet with InBev executives to squash the beef. I believe Dana White was involved as well, as he has a deal with InBev for UFC ads and likely the bitch slapping promotion he owns.

Kid Rock met with Anheuser-Busch's CEO Brendan Whitworth and UFC President Dana White during a UFC event, where they reportedly had a friendly conversation and even bonded over drinks.

I looked it up. It was a featured segment during a UFC event.
