And she's catching HEAVY flak for not wanting to make political content. They're calling her a FASCIST for this take.
Same goes for a bunch of people in the VTuber sphere at the moment; Chacha, Jelly, Tomoe...all caught a lot of hate for NOT wanting to weigh in.
BananaJuju, Powdur, Celestium, Rev, Strawb, all under fire for having varying levels of the wrong stance, or defending the wrong person, or being married to the wrong person.
Chibi Reviews was swatted (again, I think) recently.
And the mob is using the usually underhanded tactics of going after companies, sponsors, artists, and other professional connections, to try to hurt these people.
Bright side...these attacks mostly backfired, it seems to me. Rev and Strawb are out a sponser...but the company probably sunk itself, and the hate mob that is affiliated with them made themselves so toxic they nuked their own prospects too.
Jelly got reprimanded, but everyone came out to defend her, and everyone is hating on Phase Connect. Basically, the companies that bent the knee seem to be suffering for it big time, but time will tell.
Juju, Powdur, Jelly, and Tomoe all seem to be having pretty big growth.
Cancel culture is still out in force, but I don't think it has the same weight it used to. The left can claim victory over these "cancelations" if they want...I don't think they actually won anything here.
Woke isn't dead until admitting that you voted for Obama or ever supported gay marriage is as dangerous to your career and social standing as admitting that you voted for Trump or that you think deporting foreigners and locking up criminals is good.

I'm just so happy I don't know who any of those people are.
You're missing out, but to each their own.
Powdur especially has been going ham recently.

Sounds like a purity test operation
