Leftism has had an easy time winning over these past few centuries in part because its opponents are almost to a man just plain stupid to the point of being self-defeating. Indeed, your political conception is probably so far off the mark that it necessitates anarchism being Extreme-Right (i.e. if small government is Right-Wing, no government logically seems to be Extreme-Right), that Ancient China and Ancient Egypt are Left-Wing (e.g. because they were absolute monarchies and essentially non-capitalist, lacking contemporary understandings of private property), and all kinds of other obvious falsehoods.
