I'm not even sure what they were trying to accomplish. They sure as hell weren't trying to make Epstein look good and Epstein was totally playing into it. It almost feels like he did it just to flex, knowing full well they had no intention of releasing the thing. At one point he flat out calls Epstein Satan and his reply is basically "Not saying I am, but I'm in no position to refute it." If anything, it fed into his ego and I think it chubbed him up a little.
There's a reason why you haven't heard Epstein speak. He's unmistakably, overwhelmingly Jewish.

A few times the guy said "you're the smartest guy in the room please help me do my job?"
Part of this is New York. He sounds somewhat similar to Christopher Walken, who grew up in Queens. Still kind of funny.
