Fucking retarded, bordering on historical revisionism.
All of what we currently know as "/pol/ culture" came from /new/ and was the reason for its closure. After /new/ got deleted somehow the ideas didn't just magically go away and dissipate into the cosmos but instead found purchase on almost every single other board almost immediately. The creation of /pol/ was as a containment board to rid the site of "extremist" ideas in other more niche spaces.
This is pretty obvious thanks in part to the handling of Gamergate's origins on /v/, and in a lesser way sitewide. Discussion around Gamergate was heavily censored and all but banned, even on a containment board like /pol/. If you'll recall, those moderation practices caused a mass-exodus from the site which allowed 8chan to gain a sizable userbase.
Setting aside the retardation of believing some crotchety old pedo boomer could mastermind some kind of cultural shift amongst a bunch of chaotic internet-savvy anonymous shitposters casually over brunch, following the chain of logic indicates the opposite.
m00t and Quinn were friends, or at the very least acquaintances through mutual friends. Given that both m00t and Quinn are anti-Gamergate, if this theory that m00t spoke to Epstein about creating /pol/ holds any water I'd say the shoe is on the other foot here. Anyone anti-Gamergate is far more likely to be guilty of doing Epstein's bidding by this poster's own tortured logic.
