Yes, that is factually true. But then the Jews started institutionally arguing with God, and here we are.
No institution can be permanently trusted. Not even the church. All institutions, given time, will be corrupted and begin working for themselves for their own benefit.
No matter what you have to semi-regularly purge institutions and reset them, or completely destroy them and build new ones in their place. There are no exceptions.
