That's why the majority of Israelites were worshipers of Yahweh. That's not a choice, they're born into the religion of their ancestors, and raised by their parents in it. If someone never makes a choice to worship Ba'al, and worships Yahweh their whole life, that doesn't address your question of why someone would choose one over another.
If you ask me why a Dane would chose to worship Jesus rather than Mohammed, to tell you that Denmark is Christian isn't an answer.
The whole point, in fact the point of why Ba'al is considered a demon, is because there were plenty of jews that were choosing to worship Ba'al. Including Israelite kings. Your question is addressing why that choice is being made, not what an Israelite would have been pre-disposed to by birthright.

It might be different if someone from one ethnicity was raised in a different ethno-culture that wasn't there own. But if we're talking about the Israelites in the Bronze Age, that would be quite rare, or they were a slave to someone in that other ethnic group, or they were a bastard to someone in that other ethnic group.
If you're standing here saying: "the environment you are raised in is the environment you are informed by" then that is just a truism. Why ask me why the Israelites would be choosing Ba'al over Yahweh or vice versa?
Indeed. Thus we can see how Judaism informed the creation of communism and Jews were its primary agents, even after embracing atheism. Jewish critical practices and deconstructionism are at the heart of communist culture.
So, the worship of Yahweh is Communism? Doesn't seem like it. Especially since Communism is invented in Christian Western Europe, over a thousand years after the Bronze Age ends, and the concept of Social Justice itself is derived from Catholicism.
Again, Leftism resembles the cult of Ba'al and Asher in it's tactics, not the cult of Yahweh, let alone formal Judaism.
Leftism is an ideology that uses all available skin-suits to rationalize it's existence to whatever population it is attacking. That includes Judaism, Christianity, Atheism, Paganism, and even Taoism. The fact that you said that Jews embraced Atheism to accept Communism, tells you that those jews had to abandon their own ethno-cultural practices to embrace Leftism. You know, like being tempted by Ba'al.
