My favorite sport is baseball. A beautiful game. Spring training is almost here
People purposely throw a basball 90 mphs at a guy's head. They slide with the spiked shoes up. Until the rule change they would plow into catchers.
There are plenty of ways baseball players hurt each other.
It's not the goal to hurt other players. It is an innately violent sport, true but pretending its only empty brutality is an overstatement
Yea, it is what it is. Tired of the complaints about not enough blacks in baseball. Anyone who has talent can play and there are black Hispanics if that makes them happy. My favorite sport. Very strategic
Yeah the fact they just don't want to count the afro-latino players is telling. I was watching something about Russell Wilson the other day and apparently some of his teammates didn't like him because he wasn't black enough. Because he grew up middle class with both parents and to the inner city players like Marshawn Lynch, he might as well been a white dude.
Yea I remember hearing about that. Every new season there is always the inevitable story about how there aren’t many blacks in the league. I remember Larry Elder talking about this college baseball team that had all white guys and one black guy and he pointed out how the interviewers kept trying to get the black guy to complain about racism but each time they asked he said his teammates are his good friends.
Even then you had Willie Mays, Satchel Paige, Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds, who knows how many more I'm forgetting
They still celebrate Jackie Robinson because muh civil rights.
This theorem doesn't hold up when you add ice hockey to the mix.
