She has lived in Canada her whole life and is White. She asked me if it were possible to own a building without owning the land that the building was on and I explained how it is and that's how many properties on Indian land are setup. I then went in to say, it's not that common of a setup outside of Indian land as far as I know but apparently, it's fairly common in NYC according to Trump's book. She scowled almost immediately. "You read Trump's books?" I told her I did because I like to stay informed about things and it was actually a pretty good book that was written well before his political days that mostly focused on the real estate side. I told her I read Mark Carney's book also. "Who's that?" She replied. "You don't know who the Prime Minister of Canada is?" "I guess not because I don't know who that is" she replied.
And Canadians like to pretend they're more informed than Americans.
A nation is its people not the borders its tyrannical rulers and elite dictate. Defending a country is foolish, defending the nation of its people is valiant. You've literally fallen for propaganda by tyrants to compel you to fight in their wars for their interests instead of fight for your own interests.
Canada is not a country worth defending. Its leaders bring in non-Whites, while they oppress the Whites. They steal our resources and waste them on themselves for their own sport. Our country is against the nation. Patriotism is a fools errand. Ethno-Nationalism is all that matters.
At the end of the day both the Canadian government and American government are against the nation but the USA is still objectively superior to Canada on every metric that matters and I don't just mean GDP. The USA has more freedoms, less taxes and more equity in its distribution of resources. Only foolish low quality Canadians who realize they'd be worse off wouldn't want to be an American and these types of people should not have their thoughts on anything be regarded.
Don't kid yourself about how things will go when you are conquered and occupied. It's not a "like the borders were drawn elsewhere", it's vae victis.
Have you ever looked at what happens south?
That's the only reason I could remotely understand. But you did lead with GDP. That is pretty atrocious.
This is embarrassing.
I never led with GDP, you did. Quality of Life is more than GDP, a lot more. Equity, imo, is the biggest factor in QoL and Canada is highly inequitable in its quest for anti-White and anti-male "equality".
I would be opposed to Canada being a territory because we would be treated poorly but a State is different. Are you really that clueless?
Also, I see what goes on down south and I wish our own people would fight for what's right. Canadians have 0 fight in them and are a defeated nation run by tyrants that milk the Canadian cattle slaves for all they can. It's embarassing.
Fair enough.
Apparently, and I'm far from an expert on this, Puerto Rico doesn't want to be a state, because then they have to pay taxes.
They fought pretty hard against Trump's annexation threats. What was going on there was strange even to visitors.
They fought for the interests of the tyrants not their own interests. That's the embarassing part. And if their interests align with the tyrants then these Canadians are worthless people.
Being a territory means you have no political representation which means no one is catering to your state's needs to gain political power. While the advantage of less taxes seems good, I doubt it's overall beneficial.
Territories also don't get the same trade deals nor.federal funding for anything etc... one of the greatest advantages of becoming a state is getting immediate access to all of America's trade deals.
Territories also don't get all the same rights as states as it applies in the constitution. One of the benefits of becoming a state is that Canada would become a more free area but if "Canadian traditions" of oppression are allowed to continue because Canada is a territory instead of a state that defeats some of the advantages for me.
