No articles I can find yet but online chatter shows people talking about how tonight Grok is now heavily censored. Won't take uploaded images and put the woman in a bikini, etc. Won't make videos of women undressing into bikinis/underwear etc.
I tested it personally by uploading a pic of a woman and asking it draw her in a bikini and it was moderated. Uploaded to Imagine a woman already in a bikini and it refuses to make a video of literally anything (not even "woman reads a book", how sexist!)- even with no prompt it refuses. Asked it to draw a woman in a bikini and 1 attempt was moderated but another was generated.
All because Elon stuck his dick in crazy.
I see no issue with it not altering user upload images of real women.
Free speech? Seems akin to parody, images are expressive speech and the speech doesn't have to be "good" or have "value" to be protected speech. Unless someone was marketing them as real then that would be fraud/defamation but the issue is fraud/defamation not the photo. Did the guy who make the fake nude of the pink Power Ranger face any punishment? My 15 yr old ass thought that was real.
Should we ban Photoshop etc too? Why are people acting like fake sexy images are some new fangled thing? AI just takes away needing the skill.

I only have an issue in so much as it had to be specifically patched, and there's lot of more egregious stuff that hasn't been. It comes with built-in parental control, intelligence control, maturity control, and gatekeeping... And Grok, alongside all corpo AIs, tears all of those down.
