Since 2021, when ''foreseable death'' was removed from the limitations.
Now, for example, "grievous and irreversible" chronic pain is sufficient.
In only took from 2016 to 2021 for that ''impending death'' guardrail to get removed.
Okay so not depression then.
Chronic pain I can see the merit in it. I'm setting up a living will to request the plug to be pulled if I'm on life support. I'd rather end it than live with severe chronic pain that made my very existence difficult.
If depression is the sole reason, you have to wait untill March 2027, then that guardrail goes off too.
Is that official?
