I was just correcting a stupid statement to a less stupid statement, not necessarily endorsing it, just providing an alternative that I saw as serving the same goal.
This sure sounds like an endorsement, I'll be real with you. Should is a pretty strong word choice.
What is it about this that makes it more correct?
Someone who says that people who try to kill themselves should "be shot in the head" is likely saying such with the understanding that such an action in the vast majority of cases is a deterrent and wanted to use it as one in this case but simply failed to realize it would just be giving the people what they want, therefor to achieve what I assume was the intended goal I suggested a modified alternative
And you think this is how things should be conducted?
I don't particularly care one way or the other. just that my correction was closer to what I assumed was the intent.
