No wonder the rest are so pissed off with older generations...
I've had a cursory look at it when that was going around, it wasn't just Gen Z. It was somewhere in the region of 18-25% of ALL pregnancies, across all generation divides, since it was legalised and readily available, so Millenials were hit hard by it too. It's been a fairly steady number throughout.
Gen X got hit the worst I believe. Something like a third of them were aborted. One of the reasons they were such a small demographic.

If every one of those 1.3 billion would've had 3 children between them on average, that';s 3.9 billion less people on top of that 1.3. And those children would have had children by now; 11.7 billion if you follow the existing math.

Now they do. Back then (pre-1940), by the time you were ~22, you usually had a couple kids who could walk and another in the oven when you enlisted. Now we're waiting longer and having less of them.

Now consider a lot of violence and killings are on womens behalf and the total is even higher.
Interesting exercise in statistics. Spousal murder is much high in men, meaning men murder their wives more than women murder their husbands. But marries men get murdered more than marries women. That's because the statistic excluded hitmen. Men are MUCH more violent than women are but women kill their husbands more than men kill their wives so this one area the stats got altered, or rather redefined, to change the narrative. Never trust statistics.
