I know a lot of art is an expression, and at times a simplification of emotion. I've had my bike stolen too. Eventually, I got over it. I got a new bike.
Now, when I look back on it, I might have this similar outlook of, it was probably re-sold, and some guy got it as a gift, or is using it to get in shape. Am I happy it got stolen? No. Do I wish I could get it back and see the slimy little shits do some time for it? Yes. Do I have a better lock now for my new bike? You bet. But, if I really want to, I can think about where it is now and how someone else might be having a good ride on it.
If I want to express this feeling and newfound sort of optimism, I might use a four panel comic. It's an oversimplification, but it's not false
