I read Lord of the Rings in highschool on recommendation from a substitute teacher.
It's an amasing book despite some tediouly detailed parts ( you get treated to an introduction to Hobbit genealogy ).
The movie trilogy was as based as still allowed to be when it was filmed, so I appreciate it despite its flaws.
The Hobbit movie trilogy went full retard in the background and sometimes the foreground ( made-up blacks and brown background characters, a made-up elf girlboss lusting after a dwarf. )
Intersectional commies hate beauty, honor to your own kind, and homogenous countries. Lord of the Rings features all that in a good light.
