Been there many times and have several American friends living there for several years. Its not at all what you describe, you should get out more.
It is very superficial in terms of appearance, but probably in a good way. Women are not at all bossy like Western counterparts, and slutty behavior is frowned upon. You see several prominent churches right in the middle of downtown.
You have to be kidding me. Of course you won't experience the dystopia actual Koreans have to deal with as a fucking foreigner.

It doesn't matter if you're a tourist or an expat working there. You're still a foreigner not part of that society and will be treated significantly different from a native.
This has nothing to do with negative vibes. Look up Chaebols and inform yourself instead of glorifying a society you haven't got the first clue about.
You know even less as you have never been. Stop presuming you know things about a place you havent even been. Get out from behind your desk and experience the world.
