The thing I'm referring to is the left is trying to assuage the MAGA bloodlust by tossing them a few scapegoats, so the left can go back to orderly looting. Meanwhile it teaches a lesson to the imported Helots that they shouldn't get too ambitious because their masters will hang them out to dry any time (recall that Mayor Frey in Minneapolis was almost ousted by the lightbulb heads).

This is also a stress test for the white guilt complex. The left typically does stuff like this where they defend outrageous crimes from browns by calling everyone who dares to notice racist. Floyd riots were only 4 years ago. This is another test run to see how much of their base they can rally out in defense of their genocidal rapefugees.

Any result that ends in less than mass deportations, NGOs destroyed, patronage networks defunded, and leftists in handcuffs is a clear loss, no matter how much the Ackman types will try to spin it as a win.
