percent of Whites reported that they never tipped restaurant servers
(Thomas-Haysbert, 2002). In the other survey, 6 percent of Blacks and 2
percent of Whites reported stiffing restaurant servers (Lynn, 2004b).
I wouldn't trust self reporting from blacks, I'd survey the restaurants and waiters for more accurate tip rates. The waiters wouldn't hate them that much if it's less than 10% that never tipped and only 5% less than whites when they did, or maybe that's on top of the loud/constant demanding attitudes while letting the kids run wild
Don’t even need to do a survey. Every restaurant has cameras. Get the footage and receipts and go from there.
With video footage, you could also look at how waiters and waitresses treat blacks (spoiler: they’re treated just fine; they just enjoy being assholes)
And then they bitch and whinge when these businesses start refusing service to blacks.
