would they want to be an independent nation? or would they try to assimilate with the United states?
Alberta is landlocked, I feel like you would be a bad idea for them to be their own Nation unless they could secure territory that leads to a port.
Switzerland is quite successful and is 10% the size
a lot of that is thanks to their status as a safe haven for cash.
Simple, Alberta copies Switzerland.
if they could pull it off, great. I'm sure every country in the world is chomping at the bit to be the holder of all the world's billionaires' cash.
They’ll join the US. Albertan provincial government has already begun talks with US officials. They’ll become rich as fuck due to finally being able to exploit their natural resources, and the US won’t just let them sign deals with anyone else.
