Vivek is presenting the civic nationalist hypothetical, but the reality of that ideology has already appeared. We’ve already seen that non-whites do not abide by colorblindness or merit. Instead, they are all of them ruthlessly tribal and nepotistic. No one except whites have ever honestly and fully embraced the principles of civic nationalism, and so the ideology simply cannot function when non-whites are present in number.
