For over a decade, I've tried telling my boomer parents that this was going on and they didn't accept it or care.

I showed this to my boomer mom yesterday and her response was the following:

Yes, I get it, but you still have an education, a good job, and are living a privileged life. Situations are constantly evolving. Unfortunately, articles like this one only serve to generate racism and hatred, which leads to bloodshed and death. People all want some basic things regardless of the colour of their skin, their religion, etc. However, I don't agree that people should be hired on the basis of those things. The person who is most qualified should get the job despite anything else.

What I can't stand about boomers is that the truth to them is bad because it causes bad things so we have to ignore the truth even though they supposedly don't agree with what's been done. How do you even identify the problem if identifying it is bad? Fucking boomers.
