You know, it would have been useful information if you'd mentioned in the title or in the comments:
Who those two people are supposed to be;
What game they developed;
In which category they were (or could have been) nominated.
I can kind of get an idea of what they produced by quickly skimming your link, but I had no interest in digging particularly deep. They seem to have made a game I've never even heard of, with slightly-above Cal arts graphics. Exactly what's supposed to be special about it?
Just the fact that a widely love game was overlooked for the AAA slop.
They look more like Jeff Minter than Lenny Kravitz or Keanu Reeves does, but it's clear that haranguing the quarry into the cage is the goal here.
The game was over before it began.
I'm into games, not button mashing nonsense with great graphics.

You arrive in a town to do an undisclosed task. But prior to doing said task you have to help out a lot of other people.
Then, you get to start said task (But the game ends before you see what that is).
Some small yellow flowers greet you are you start your quest.
I can say no more, say no more.
