This is the biggest risk with AI, not the tool in of itself but the people using the tool thinking they no longer require any critical thinking by using it.
They're lazy in a bad way that actually harms society and innovation.
Why would critical thinking benefit? He has a job to to, the AI tells him to do the job, he does the job so his performance metrics go up.
