These vile people are permanently stuck in a 2000's Ironic Indifference attitude that will poison their lives, and every product they're involved with for the rest of their careers. Noble, heroic characters forcibly transformed into bitter, spiteful, antagonistic whiners who will do nothing but remind everyone of how shitty the world is, instead of inspire them to become better than they were today. I can see the projection of the whole production team on full display.
