i looked her up, she is a techie/developer, in a 95% male dominated field. I've unfortunately spent enough time in the Silicon Valley area to know what the incredibly skewed male to female ratio does to women's egos, and this woman is the end result of it.
In the US, the only more entitled group of women outside of the SF Bay area is Alaskan women.
This woman actually "made it", she made something of herself, either by herself or with help, that is an even bigger ego inflator.
its for the same reason Silicon Valley women disregard too many men: the ratio of eligible men to women is outrageous, In Alaska and Silicon Valley it is around 8 eligible men to 1 eligible women, last time I checked.
EDIT: There is a reason the nick name of San Jose is "Man Jose", its all men who live there
