The city went from 30% black to 85% black in 2010 with the population lowering to 700k. It’s now 630k and blacks are down to 70% of the population with 5 police officers per 1000 citizens (average city is 2.4). The homicide rate also stopped counting people that were likely murdered but died in one of the thousands of dead areas that have been abandoned, or just haven’t been found because the area is desolate. The population is on pace to be under 500k by 2060. See with mass crime and flight it turns out the criminals also leave at a certain point when there’s no money to be made from crime.
