Because they view Mud Slimes as poor little innocent darlings that don't know any better and need to be protected from the Evil White Man who hates them for no reason. It's how they've been conditioned their whole life, their maternal instincts redirected away from their children or the children they should want to have, and towards the minorities that are so horribly oppwessed.

They really have no idea how despicable a culture and religion Islam is. And they can't, because they've been conditioned into thinking that all cultures and religions are equal, provided they're not White, European, or Christian.
