Yeah this statement seems to contradict everything he's done the last 6 months or so. H1-b visas, work permits for illegals, flood failing colleges with foreigners so they can stay open. Constantly talking about how we lack talented Americans so we need foreigners.
So now, he claims he intends to not only be going to the neutral stance, but the complete other direction. And waited almost a year into his first term to do it despite the obvious hurdles that will be thrown up.
It's hard to believe this is a serious policy intention. The only way I could see it being legitimate is if Israel starts thinking the non-white population in America is getting a little too angry with them and wants to walk things back, since we know he certainly listens to them. That seems doubtful though, I'm pretty sure they want to continue the status quo.
