With that being said, I disagree with the premise. Societies, long before reliable abortion and birth control have all complained about the exact same things of women. What truly "removed the cost" was giving women "equality" (by oppressing men and unjustly elevating women in society) and taxing men then redistributing the resources to women (thus creating inequity between men and women outside of where they'd fall without government oppression of men). Get rid of government and the problem of women goes away.
Also, there's another false idea here: that pregnancy is the cost of sex + pair bonding. WRONG. Nature designed us such that sex + pair bonding + children for women is the cost they provide men in exchange for RESOURCES from men. This is because from a man's perspective, the only value women have is sex + pair bonding + children. For men the cost is RESOURCES to women in order to gain sex + pair bonding + children. What destroyed this relationship is not birth control or abortion but government taxation of men and redistribution of men's taxes through social programs (which mostly go to women) AND child support.
If you want to fix this relationship, you need to lower taxes by 80%, cut all social programs and abolish alimony, child support and 50/50 division of assets.
If you want women to have more children and have healthy relationships with men you need to stop giving women, men's resources for free.
