It's even worse! They originally offered her $67K. 😂 I guess she didn't find out about the White girl getting $14M until after it was over.

144M budget & 229M global gross = the studio lost $70M, estimated. Possibly more.

Afterlife (2021) in the height of the pandemic, had a $75M budget and grossed 204M globally. Ca-ching!
