Men have low standards when the time comes, even if they claim otherwise. It doesn't matter how unappealing women are on paper, if she gives a guy attention she will probably succeed.

The problem is she won't do that, because her standards are skyrocketing. That's likely what's at play here. Men can't get any women because they aren't able to compete with a BDSM Smut novel guy who dominates her every desire, and because most guys can't compete she is left alone as well.

Its the same problem as it was a decade ago before AI and it will continue well past the AI bubble bursting.
