I haven't formed an opinion on whether there is a conspiracy going on with McCoy. But one thing I am certain of is that the way these people talk is strange, detached, performative, and seemingly self-serving. Whether that's because they are trying to fake strong feelings for Charlie, or because they were actually involved in his death, I don't know. But that's the way it comes across to me.
The elder McCoy's sermon clip in particular comes across as a beady-eyed person trying to manipulate an audience.
Kirk was an honest guy, but he got surrounded by Televangelist church-cult types that were all about using him to get power.
When Kirk was assassinated their first thought was how can they jockey to get more control or influence. Maybe not all of them, but a lot, including this 'blood on the hands guy'.
All I know is that I don't believe a damn thing that any of them says.
I don't know how much stock I put in most of the stuff that Candace has dug up, but her setting up the grifters around Charlie to expose themselves has been pretty good.
I will say, I think the "blood all over him" line is one of the weakest threads, and never should have been focused on. It's honestly easily explained by mere emotion.
I still think most of these people are lying demons, though.

Eh, I'll give it a pass, memories for dramatic events are notoriously unreliable.
