He ported doom to the jaguar so he uses that port and just finishes on time.
The whole “deranged” part is that the customer never sent the work over and that at the end the customer didn’t like the port and was recording their phone calls to try to entrap him into saying he has agreed to certain features that he claims he never agreed to so the customer could sue him.
