I was just discussing the Steamdeck with a coworker. We now have a console, head gear and new controller to go with it. If priced right, it becomes major competition for consoles.

Like prebuilt already exists for decades...
Valve sees the writing on the wall... if they don't start controlling the hardware, pretty soon they won't be allowed on any OS. M$, and Google are all trying to close off all their OSes like Apple already has. There is a ongoing coordinated attack on Valve because they are fair to consumers, unlike virtually any other company.
