Another thing that bugs me, IT has seen massive layoffs. How do you justify bringing in more H1Bs like Microsoft is doing, while Americans remain unemployed and struggling.
Of course there have been layoffs. They are to free up positions for newly hired H1Bs. H1Bs aren't about fixing a shortage. They are about undercutting the labor market for skilled labor just like they did to unskilled labor with illegal immigration.
