I have seen some info, in one Zerohedge comment, that the layoffs are being matched by large hirings in India and other places, so instead of bringing the jeets to the US, they are shipping the positions to avoid the 100k fee.
That is what I heard. They're basically just replacing current work force with jeets.

I am in Canada, infested with these people, but in a highly specialized field, and we only have 2 jeets, if I am not wrong.
But whenever we talk with IT, it's at least half of them are jeets
