ok, that explains why he always seemed a bit touchy on the jewish stuff but what about the other one?

He looks a bit jewish but he is not in fact jewish as far as I know

Fuentes? Maybe they would. If they think they can embarrass him. Or if they think that elevating him would hurt the people critical of their project.
