Why can’t the citizens just refuse to pay for it?

Why haven’t the citizens gotten anything they’ve wanted in the past 50 years? Do you think the citizens wanted immigration? Hell no!

Well that’s true. Like Brexit. I don’t know how British politics work but the bbc is vile and seems to hate actual Brits
