the phone that you're posting with, the roof over your head, the food you eat, THAT is what has a paywall. the reason it has a paywall is because it was all produced or maintained by other people, and nobody produces anything for free.
you want to be fed? warm? still connected to your addictive internet habits? you have to give something of worth in return.
