No Kings protest has tons of preplanned and stuff that could only work if half the people were doing it as a job. But yeah, grass roots.
People leave as soon as their paid protest time is up and the streets are empty.
Antifa attempts to siege the ICE facility
They tried to start a fire near the building and throw burning debris
Portland ICE gave no shits and fired tear gas at protestors trying to breach the wall of their facility. The area was flooded with the gas and the rioters left.
During the day, tear gas is called evil by lefty
Man calls a TPUSA reporter a token and tries to block her from entering protest area. He is arrested by police.
President Trump made an AI video of him dropping fecal matter on the no Kings protestors.
All the other cities are peaceful, because the terrorists only want Portland. Something something
ABC had an amazing shot of what is obviously paid propaganda in LA
Buses used to take in paid protestors
A man died in front of the protestors, and they didn't care.
Police are helping left rioters in Portland. They think this will curry favor with the powers that be in the state.
While you are correct about absolute monarchs, most feudal kings had a balance of power with their barons. Barons administered the far flung countryside, collected taxes, and raised armies (and lead them as generals) should the country go to war.
If a king overstepped their authority, was a shitty king or otherwise drove the country to ruin, the Barons could and would raise armies to take the capitol and kill the king.
The First Barons' War (1215–1217) against Bad King John established the Magna Carta this way, limiting the power of tyrant kings.
The Despenser War (1321–1322) With the Marcher Barons against Edward II and his blatant cronyism is probably a better example.
At the moment the USA has an effective aristocrat class that manipulates stupid people (mostly women) through media control and selective funding.
If we had an actual ruling class and a House of Lords we'd actually know who to kill to get shit to change.
At its best, Monarchy was better than the bullshit that is going on in the USA right now. The USA is very close to ungovernable, and probably will be ungovernable within my lifetime.
