I really like the original. It made me discover an appreciation for classical music. On that alone I'd be open to seeing this remake, if it was movie-length.

The original is an easy include for top 100 best movies ever made and an absolute personal favorite of mine, which is why this adaptation is such a personal affront to my aesthetic tastes. I have no interest in this at all because it would be like someone dressing an old whore up as my dead wife and calling it the same.
