Petition: Do not introduce Digital ID cards

We demand that the UK Government immediately commits to not introducing a digital ID cards. There are reports that this is being looked at.

And since they have a digital ID system they can just turn off everyone who signed the petition.

That would be the most retarded thing they could do as creates a mentality of having nothing to lose, everyone will comply because they have no choice in the matter.

What are they going to do? call someone on their bricked phone? send a letter to the editor with the money for a stamp they don't have?
