When heterosexuality, marriage, children, and motherhood are marked as evil at worst and boring at best on every corner of culture (education, media, entertainment, politics), and being an alphabet whore is encouraged, celebrated, and claimed to be a guarantee that you will have an amazing life of non-stop fun and pleasure, women are going to naturally flock to the latter. Or at least claim they are if they want to be respected and be part of the flock.
