For awhile the South seemed to be covered pretty fairly, then the CRT shit happened and they became deliberately evil slave holders hurting black people for the fun of it

World War I tends to be covered more objectively IME, though I think a large part of that is that people just don't care because there are no victim points to be gained in 2025. Either that or people just lump it together with World War II.
