Chimpanzees and humans share 99% of their DNA but are considered a different species
That's almost the same percentage shared between all the different human races, yet all those races are considered the same human species.
Why is that? Seems somewhat contradictory and deliberate saying all the human races are the same species even though there are vast differences between them.
This is false and whoever came up with that figure was cherry picking parts of the genome. Chimps have 24 pairs of chromosomes and 3.8 billion base pairs, while humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes and 3.2 billion base pairs. It's impossible for humans and chimps to procreate.
They are the same species because they can produce fertile offspring. The human races better fit into the subspecies category, which granted is something leftist scientists refuse to do.
I think normally they compare protein coding genes, not 'junk DNA' (which isn't really junk but whatever).
Doesn't matter if a gene is on chromosome 1 or 7 if it's the same gene, except for interbreeding.
But yeah it's all bullshit blank slate apologism. You can be a fully functional adult or a vegetable with just one base pair being wrong if it's certain ones.
Oh there's only a few million base pairs different between the races? That could be a little bit of difference or a fucking lot, it depends on what they are. And sure seems like some of them are fairly important.
