Meh, the economy wasn't in a state to absorb turning the global economy off and on again but that didn't stop anyone. I say chuck 'em all out and get on with it.

The global economy didn't quite break yet, but it's close enough that a sudden 1 day H1B revocation might just finally push it over the edge.
I fully agree that we should just let the whole thing finally crash the way it should have in the late 80s, but no politician will ever accept the pain and we will continue to kick the can down the road until everything turns into Weimar.
