That "Warhammer" story is fun. If I recall correctly, a disgruntled TSR employee, post-Gygax ouster, contacted the FBI as a Satanic panic informant. The local FBI office sends out an agent who dutifully interviews this guy as he shits on all the people he doesn't like at work, in the guise of broad generalizations. The snippet in OP being an example of "I don't like Bob, and Bob plays wargames, so let me tell you about wargamers."
The agent files his report and nothing ever comes of it.
Keeping in mind that TSR started as a wargame company and D&D started as a wargame, presumably the informant was a fag.
