Because depending on where you live your taxpayer money is funding it and the lives of your nations soldiers are on the line if that shit should ever escalate into a full regional war.

Israel has its hand so far up the US governments ass you can see the hand every time a US politician opens their mouth. So as an American you have to care that your nations government is controlled by a hostile foreign entity.

Same goes for many European countries too although none are as extreme as the US.
